What Foyen is
Foyen is a Vertum product that helps small service businesses answer calls, capture front-office details, review call outcomes, and prepare for controlled phone forwarding or test-call workflows.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, Foyen receives basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile image when Google provides it. We use that information for account authentication, account access, and matching you to your Foyen account.
During signup and product use, Foyen may also collect business intake details, call-handling preferences, billing status, support messages, product events, and call review records that you or your team provide or approve.
When a test call, pilot call, or bridge workflow is connected, Foyen and its communications providers may process phone numbers, call metadata, recordings when enabled, transcripts, SMS or owner notification content, message delivery status, routing decisions, and tool inputs or results needed to debug and prove the workflow.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure your account, provide the Foyen dashboard, process checkout and billing state, prepare call playbooks, show account-specific call outcomes, provide support, and maintain audit records for safety and rollback.
Bridge logs and call records
Bridge logs can include raw phone numbers, call identifiers, transcript snippets, routing context, SMS bodies or delivery metadata, and tool arguments such as calendar or deposit-link status. We use those logs for debugging, abuse prevention, call review, support, and rollback, and we limit access to people and providers who need it to operate Foyen.
Before live routing, Foyen keeps founder traffic gated behind setup, owner approval, and a test-call proof. You are responsible for telling your callers, team, and customers when call recording, transcription, messaging, or similar processing requires notice or consent in your location.
Service providers
Foyen uses third-party services to operate the product. These may include authentication providers, hosting providers, database providers, payment processors, communications providers, and product infrastructure services. These services process information only as needed to provide Foyen.
Google user data
Foyen uses Google sign-in data only for authentication and Foyen account access. We do not use Google sign-in profile data for advertising, and we do not sell Google user data.
If you connect Google Calendar, Foyen asks for the calendar permissions needed to show your calendar list, read availability, create a Foyen booking calendar when you choose that option, and create or update Foyen booking events on the calendar you select. Foyen uses Google Calendar data only to power scheduling, availability checks, booking proof, support, and audit records for your Foyen account.
Foyen stores Google Calendar connection records, selected calendar details, encrypted access or refresh tokens, event identifiers, event links, and Foyen booking metadata needed to prove which events Foyen created. Foyen does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, does not sell Google Calendar data, and does not transfer Google Calendar data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve Foyen, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect users. Foyen's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Billing
Payment details are handled by Stripe. Foyen receives billing and subscription status needed to activate or manage account access, but does not store full card numbers.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run Foyen, when required by law, or when needed to protect Foyen, Vertum, customers, or users.
Data retention
We keep account, billing, support, product, and audit information for as long as needed to provide Foyen, support customers, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain safety records.
